Principal

Hello Everyone!  I am Mrs. Jodi Romero and I am the Principal of Delcambre Elementary!

 

Here is a little about ME......

Professionally....
This is my 25th year in education.  I taught 2nd grade for 3 years at Hopkins Street Elementary before coming to Delcambre Elementary.  At DES I taught 2nd grade for 1 year before moving up to 3rd grade.  I taught 3rd grade for 10 years and I also served as Master Teacher at DES for two years.  During the 2012-2013 school year, I worked as an administrative asssistant.  I became the Principal of Delcambre Elementary starting in the 2013-2014 school year.  My future goal is to RETIRE as the Principal of Delcambre Elementary…...I LOVE this school and THIS TOWN! 

Personally....
I am married to Mike Romero.  We have a son, named Seth, and a daughter, named Briley.  We also have a spoiled dog named Spike, that we rescued.  My favorite things to do when I am not in school are FISHING, hanging out/cooking with family and friends, and spending time with the people I love the most.
